Workplace Wellbeing & Culture

What is your organisation thirsty for?

A new conversation for forward-thinking organisations - one that starts not with what's wrong, but with what's possible.

I help teams shift from unconscious habits to conscious choices, creating a wellbeing culture where people genuinely thrive.

"Things don't have to be bad for you to want better."

- The most disarming sentence in wellbeing right now.

Most people don't struggle because something is broken - they struggle because something is missing.

And most workplace habits that signal stress or burnout aren't signs of dysfunction; they're signals that no one has paused to ask what people are truly craving: connection, balance, and a culture that supports wellbeing.

I work at that intersection. Drawing on 25 years as an advertising strategist, my own lived experience, and the framework at the heart of my book, I help individuals and organisations move from unconscious habit to conscious choice - not by taking something away, but by building something better.

01

Not a problem to solve. A question to ask.

Most workplace wellbeing conversations open with deficit - burnout, crisis, productivity loss. This one opens with curiosity. What are you thirsty for? is a question anyone can answer, not just people in crisis. It removes the stigma before the conversation even begins.

02

From good to great, not broken to fixed.

Individual nourishment feeding collective performance. That's a fundamentally different - and more attractive - offer for organisations. Leaders can walk through this door without first admitting there's a problem. And that changes everything about who will engage.

03

Culture change, not compliance.

Alcohol culture in organisations rarely shifts through policy. It shifts when people find something more genuinely nourishing. Anna's work creates the conditions for that shift - through strategy, story, and a framework built on 25 years of understanding why people do what they do.

UK employees say workplace culture influences how much they drink. Most organisations have never addressed this directly.

£7.3bn

The annual cost of alcohol-related productivity loss to UK employers - the vast majority of which is hidden, habitual, and entirely preventable.

The number of organisations that have to frame this as a drinking problem. Anna's work creates space for change without stigma, liability, or difficult conversations.

Who is this for?

HR Directors & People Leaders

Who want to invest in something genuinely new - a wellbeing conversation that lands differently, that people actually want to engage with, and that moves culture rather than just checking a box.

Senior Leaders, Founders & CEOs

For leaders who recognise that workplace habits and stress patterns are holding performance back, but want to open that conversation without it feeling like blame or a top-down policy change.

Wellbeing & DEI Leads

Who are looking for programming that goes deeper than information and hygiene - that creates real reflection, real conversation, and real change in how people relate to themselves and each other.

Forward-thinking organisations

Who are already investing in performance, retention, and culture - and who understand that how people nourish themselves outside of work profoundly shapes who they are inside it.

Event & Conference Organisers

Looking for a keynote that genuinely surprises - that's warm, insightful, personal, and that audiences talk about long after the day is over. Not another slide deck. A real conversation.

Teams at a moment of transition

Restructuring, returning to office, scaling fast, navigating burnout. These inflection points are exactly when people are most open to asking: what do we actually want this to feel like?

About me

I'm Anna.

I spent 25 years in advertising strategy - understanding why people do what they do, what they really want, and how to shift behaviour at scale. That lens changed everything when I turned it on myself.

My book, What Are You Thirsty For?, grew from that personal rethink - and from the realisation that the question applied to far more than drinking. It applied to energy, connection, belonging, and meaning. To everything organisations are trying to build.

My corporate and workplace approach is shaped by the same strategic instincts that have served my clients for decades: start with the real question, not the surface one. Understand what people are actually seeking. Build from aspiration, not from fear. And trust that when you give people a genuine invitation to think differently, most of them will take it.

I am the host of The Big Drink Rethink podcast, and have been featured across BBC News, The Times, The Telegraph, Newsweek, and more.

The book behind the work: What Are You Thirsty For?

Available now, my debut book asks the question that underpins everything: not what's wrong with us, but what we're truly looking for. It's the intellectual and emotional foundation for all of my corporate work - and a powerful addition for organisations who want to go deeper.
